Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that occurs when the protective cartilage in the knee gradually wears down. This wear and tear can lead to pain, stiffness, swelling, and reduced mobility. As the cartilage deteriorates, bones may rub against each other, causing discomfort and making everyday activities challenging. Common causes of knee osteoarthritis include aging, overuse, obesity, and previous knee injuries.

What is Genicular Artery Embolization?

Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) is a minimally invasive procedure used for the treatment of chronic knee pain, which is often due to osteoarthritis. During the procedure a pin-hole incision is made in the groin and, using x-ray guidance, the doctor guides a small catheter through blood vessels to the genicular arteries. Tiny embolic particles are then injected to normalize blood flow to specific areas of the knee. This reduces pain and inflammation to the knee by limiting the blood supply to the inflamed tissue.

I love going to My Aim Health in Gilbert to have the veins in my legs worked on. Renee at the front desk is very kind and thoughtful. Andrea always makes me feel like she is happy to see me when I come in shr is AMAZING! Doctor Katie Lynch is so wonderful. She is very thoughtful and kind and always explains stuff to me so I can understand what is going on. She never makes me feel like she's in a hurry to get me out of the office. I highly recommend My Aim.

Never knew that such a place exists to treat my CVI. It was an awesome experience with all the support and care of the staff. From start to finish, my experience with this practice has been exceptional. Every member of the staff—from the front desk to the physician assistants and clinical team—was kind, professional, and clearly invested in patient care. I consistently felt supported, listened to, and treated with genuine compassion.
Most especially, I want to recognize Dr. Saha, who is truly one of the most excellent physicians I have ever encountered. He quite literally changed my life. Dr. Saha diagnosed and treated my pelvic congestion syndrome and my severe foot pain with a level of care, precision, and humanity that is incredibly rare.
What sets Dr. Saha apart is not just his impressive credentials, but how he practices medicine. He listens deeply. He applies and synthesizes his knowledge in real time, thoughtfully adapting his approach to the patient in front of him. He explains complex medical information clearly and patiently in true layman’s terms, ensuring understanding rather than confusion. I never once felt rushed or dismissed, only respected.
His attention to detail, preparation, and willingness to approach delicate procedures with humility and care speaks volumes about his character and skill. The outcomes of my procedures reflect this: effective treatment with minimal trauma and clear signs of thoughtful, expert technique.

The entire staff at the Peoria office have been fantastic! Dr. Saha is very professional and takes the time to answer questions. I’ve had a consistently excellent experience at My Aim Health's newest location in Gilbert. From the front desk to the providers, the entire team is kind, courteous, and truly goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

The appointment process is smooth and efficient—they are always able to get patients in faster than any clinic I’ve ever been to. The clinic itself is modern, clean, and welcoming—it never feels like a cold or intimidating medical office.

Dr. Saha is wonderful. He listens attentively, explains everything clearly, and makes you feel confident in your care.

Katie, the nurse practitioner, is also fantastic. She’s incredibly skilled at vein treatments and consistently makes decisions that are in the patient’s best interest. Her expertise and compassionate approach are so appreciated.

5 years of Fibroid Pain Gone!
Backstory: I’d been having painful periods since 2020.. to where every month I’d have to call off work at least two days because the start of my flow was so heavy and painful..abdominal cramps and overwhelming fatigue would keep me in bed and missing out on life events. The pain felt like something blocking my flow.. something was in the way of having normal periods.

It wasn’t until I finally sought out my Gyno for an ultrasound that I found out I had uterine fibroids - one the size of my own uterus! Although there were a few surgical options.. the best option for me, a 36 y/o childless woman, was the Uterine Fibroid Embolization. My Dr. led me to a referral to My Aim Health and Dr. Arnold Saha - best decision made.

I had my procedure done early May, 2025..
From the outstanding, caring and compassionate team that walked me through the procedure to the surgical team performing the minimally invasive surgery.. everything went amazing.

The pain I felt for 5 years.. it’s gone. A month and a half later post surgery.. the heavy pressure my body was under dealing with the control of fibroids has been alleviated. It’s like my body did a big exhale of relief! Even my bladder is happier because the fibroid isn’t pushing on it making me feel like I have a uti.

All in all, if you are thinking about having this procedure done.. do it! This is your sign!

I was spending 20-25 minutes each time I had to urinate ! It was awkward and uncomfortable. I woke up often to go in the middle of the night. I was actively looking for a non evasive solution to my problem! I have an artificial heart valve that requires me to be on warfarin and that causes me to bleed quite a bit if I am cut or have a laser procedure, so naturally I was not comfortable having this done! Through many questions I asked and a couple of urologists I finally found the right solution. It’s called a PAE I met Doctor Arnold Saha! I liked him instantly and set up the procedure asap ! I had a catheter and foly bag for 6 months so I had my doubts but just as he said two weeks later I was urinating like a race horse ! Pain free and no bleeding I was out of the procedure 3-4 hours later and on my way home. Others that had the procedure before me did not have a catheter and was able to urinate 30 minutes after the procedure! I was just happy to be back to feeling whole again. It is awesome! Thank you Doctor Saha , this procedure gave me my life back again!

I had the uterine fibroid embolization procedure done yesterday 6/5/2020. I highly recommend Dr, David Wood to anybody. I was highly impressed with Dr. Woods staff from my very first contact with his office. I was even more impressed when I went in for my consultation a week before my procedure was scheduled! Dr. Wood has phenomenal bedside manners, is very patient and takes the time to discuss the procedure very thoroughly, while allowing you to ask questions. My procedure went well and I am excited to see how this improves my quality of life! Happy tears! Thank you so much Dr. David Wood and his entire staff! You are the best!! 😊
